Linear Obsessional is proud to release this extraordinary piece of sound art by the Colombian composer and installation artist David Vélez. "Unaware" is a long scale piece exploring the effects of low frequencies, and is intended to be played through loud speakers. The piece effectively "plays" your listening environment.
"More than any piece I have ever composed, the space where this composition is projected and the objects found in there, become instrumental in the process similar to what with an installation, just that the listener/player activates in deactivates in its own home or listening space" - David Vélez,from the accompanying sleeve notes (available as a PDF with the download, or on the sleeve of the physical edition.
